Restoring and protecting the natural biodiversity
Support and facilitate the conservation, rehabilitation or protection of the natural environment, including flora, fauna - the biosphere.
Biodiversity is an underrated and complex issue but there is no doubt on how large of an impact it can have on a region. Having vegetation which supports the vast variety of wildlife of the South African savanna needs not only to be conserved but brought back to its origin. This is one of our goals.
At this time we are working hard to create tailor made experiences for universities and colleges with a focus in ecology, wildlife management and conservation here at the Mapesu Private Game Reserve. It will be a once in a lifetime chance to get involved in the behind the scenes efforts in conservation, eco-restoration and social up-liftment initiatives that will leave volunteers with a truly unique and reflective understanding of this region and the impact of preserving nature.
For more information on how you, your school, university or collegewould like to participate in conjunction with us, please contact us. We will keep you posted once the course is finalized.
